To ensure your basement stays dry, even when your sump pump fails, we can install a battery backup pump and secondary sump pump.
Battery Backup Systems
A sump pump can lose power for several reasons. For instance, circuits can trip, especially when connected to a GFCI outlet. We’ve even seen sump pumps that were unplugged by someone in the home who needed to use the outlet. These things can lead to serious water damage if there are no backup solutions in place.
This risk is why we recommend the UltraSump® Battery Backup System. With a fully charged battery, the UltraSump® Battery Backup System can pump out 11,500 gallons of water or more. It even alerts you with an alarm when it starts running. For lasting support, you can add another battery to double pumping time.
Secondary Sump Pump Systems
A primary sump pump and battery backup offer great protection, but there’s more you can do to truly keep your basement dry when the worst happens. Once your primary pump goes down, you’ll only have as much protection as the charge left in your battery backup sump pump.
This situation is where a secondary sump pump comes in handy. A secondary sump pump can keep your basement safe when all else has failed or when your primary pump needs help dealing with an overwhelming volume of water.
